MATH WAY PROGRAM

The Program

Math Way to Excellence "programs" consist of using The Cipher Quick Math Card Game, Cipher Quick Math Boards, and Cipher Quick Math Lesson Modules. The program can be started within schools, afterschool programs, daycares, student homes, and other educational establishments. Each program will be designed by identifying what the key areas in math the student should focusing on. Then the school will select the students that it wishes to incorporate into the program. The students will be given pretests to identify individual areas for improvement in math and to determine their math level. Lesson plans will be geared for the individual child, according to skill or grade level during the duration of the program. From here a curriculum will be given and followed. Every program will differ because it will be uniquely designed to each student, school, afterschool program, daycare and other educational establishment. The program’s duration could last anywhere from a semester to a year. The curriculum helps to show how to solve various math problems by utilizing The Cipher Quick Math Card Game, Cipher Quick Math Boards, and Cipher Quick Math Lesson Modules. They explain and break down problems step by step, and allows each student to work at their own pace, and tracks the development and improvement of each child.

The Curriculum

The Cipher Quick Math Module Lessons

The Cipher Quick Math Module Lessons are examples showing illustrations about how the solve varies math problems on the Cipher Quick Math Boards. A math problem can be illustrated on Cipher Quick Math boards and solved by using 1) step by step methods 2) short cuts and/or 3) mentally. If an incorrect answer is given, the mistake can be spotted and easily corrected. With practice, the students are able to eventually mentally picture the math boards and navigate to find the correct answers. Listed are some of the Cipher Quick Math Lessons Modules.

The Cipher Quick Big Step 0 - 20 Math Board is designed to make solving math problems easier for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Our unique board design focuses on using the number line and number board together. The student will see that the numbers get larger as they move from left to right on the number line and number board. The student will be able to count, add, and subtract numbers from 0 to 20 on the number board, on the number line, and/or by using figures. Using the Cipher Pad containing the Cipher Quick Big Step 0 – 20 Math Board (8.5 x 11 inch), a student will be able move a grid screen down to hide the printed numbers on the board and number line. They will then try to solve the math problem by writing the answer or crossing out figures on the outer plastic jacket cover. The grid screen can then be raised to reveal the printed numbers. If their answer matches the printed number, the problem has been solved correctly. Available soon!

The Cipher Quick Addition-Subtraction Math Board is designed to help students solve math problems easier and quicker. Our unique number board design incorporates using the concept of the number line. When moving from left to right on the number line, the numbers increase and get larger. When moving the opposite direction from right to left the numbers great decrease or get smaller. The same is true with our unique number board. The numbers also increase when moving downward on each of the ten numbered columns to the top of the next column from left to right. The numbers also decrease when moving upward on each of the ten numbered columns to the bottom of the next column from right to left. With the configuration of the 10 numbered columns, we can also incorporate 10-base. The student will be able count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers from 1 to 10,000. Using the Cipher Pad containing the Cipher Quick Addition-Subtraction Math Board (8.5 x 11 inch), a student will be able move a grid screen down to hide the printed numbers on the board. They will then try to solve the math problem by writing the answer on the outer plastic jacket cover. The grid screen can then be raised to reveal the printed numbers. If their answer matches the printed number, the problem has been solved correctly. Available soon!

The Cipher Quick Multiplication-Division Math Board is designed to help students solve math problems easier and quicker. This is a standard design that helps a student learn their multiplication and division math tables. Using the Cipher Pad containing the Cipher Quick Multiplication-Division Math Board (8.5 x 11 inch), a student will be able move a grid screen down to hide the printed numbers on the board. They will then try to solve the math multiplication table or division table by writing the answer on the outer plastic jacket cover. The grid screen can then be raised to reveal the printed numbers. If their answer matches the printed number, the problem has been solved correctly. Fractions math problems can also be solved using our illustrated workbooks. Available soon!
